Is there some way I can receive an email notification when there's a new user in the "Users Awaiting Moderation" category? It's a pain to keep checking the admin control panel. I already receive an email when a user user registers. I'd just like to take it one step further.
Thanks!

Thanks, but I already have this in place. What I'm looking for is a way I can be automatically emailed once the user has responded to the email confirmation and is put in the queue for user moderation. He has to be accepted before he can post, and I'd like a way to know when he's in this queue, so I can accept him into the forum.

There is no such functionality, and I've never seen a mod for it.

Too bad -- it'd be worth having.

Thanks.

With the latest spam attacks, I've had to add moderating new user registrations so I can get a handle on this new scourge. But I really need an e-mail telling me that someone is waiting to be approved. I can't keep going into the AdminCP or ModCP to keep checking. There's e-mail alerts for everything under the sun in vb, why not for this?

I stopped having moderated forrums for just this problem as well. Posts would sit waiting for days since there's no notification to the mods that there is something in their queue.

Found something that might get me closer: https://vborg.vbsupport.ru/showthread.php?t=38373

How come I can't download the Mod or see the screenshot? I get a message saying I'm not authorized to view this page when I click on any of the links.

I know it's a very old mod, but maybe from it I can figure out how to make a mod that does what we're looking for on 3.6 or 3.7...

vBulletin 2 modifications are archived and cannot be downloaded.

That's unfortunate.
