Putting Banners(adsense) on forumhome

Hey guys, need a bit of help yet again ;)

I'm trying to put an adsense banner rught under the navbar. Took the code adsense provided, and stuck it at the end of the navbar template, nothings showing up. If I put the code at the end of the header template, it shows right under my logo, except left justified. I just got vB about 2 months ago, and I have very little coding experience. Most of what i'm doing is trial and error, but i've run out of ideas. Thanks in advance

edit: I'm actually not sure thats what i'm looking for. I dont want to create a new box, just display a leaderboard 728x90 banner

In template 'FORUMHOME'
after

ADD-

OR to show banners on all pages of your forum---

In template 'FORUMDISPLAY'

after

You may have googles ad's blocked in the host file or some other adblocking program.

How about if I wanted to place my adsense code only at the beginning of a certain forum category in the forum list?

Kind of like a sponsership banner for that Parent Forum...

I've looked everywhere and with my limited understading of PHP, I'm guessing that it involves some fancy programming in the FORUMHOME template.

No. Use the SHOWTHREAD template.
