Hi recently today I made a backup of my site www.unleashedgaming.org of the files and mySQL via cpanel. Everything went fine. Now after I got my new host account details, I uploaded al files, created the previous mysql database and users and their passwords. All went well here as well. Well after I got the mysql tables from the previous host form the backup, The site showed up at our domain www.unleashedgaming.org. I noticed that most of the text isnt showing.
Does anyone know if this is a mysql issue or did I do something wrong?
Thanks in advance for any help.

did you update your counters? also, it's always best to troubleshoot using the vB default template... IMO. ;)

what do you mean by update my counters? I am confused, new to vb. :) My partner deleted the vb default template. Is that going to be an issue? Or can I just easily reupload it?

just create a new style (no parent) and make it selectable. updating counters is within your AdminCP.

what kind of style? does it have to have files? Also, where do I go in admin panel to update counters?

have you read the vB instruction manual? you're asking pretty basic stuff.

Hi, I have updated counters under the maintenance tab and problem still resumes. I am really starting to get aggrivated. I even referred to the vb manual.

ok, first create a new style (http://www.vbulletin.com/docs/html/main/stylemanager_add_new_style), then revert all your templates... it should work after that. it appears as though someone removed some copyright stuff where they shouldn't have and thus your forums no longer work.

how do you revert all them? I tried and it meessed my whole forum style up.

you're not understanding me i guess. at this point, if i were you, i would delete every style you currently have. start over. create a new style (call it whatever you want). within that style, revert all templates. you can figure out how to do this by READING THE MANUAL that i linked previously. you'd really be suprised how simple all this stuff is. you've spent more time in this thread then it would take to understand 90% of the manual. then you can troubleshoot this.

I read/searched all over the manual for reverting templates and the search came up empty.

then your search skills suck (http://www.vbulletin.com/docs/html/main/stylemanager_edit_templates). took about 1 second for me to find that.
