Adding an Image after a username?

Heya guys, i want to know how to add an image just after the username using this code:

<img src="/images/browsers/$post[field9].png" alt="$post[field9]" />

where in postbit_legacy do i need to add it. i wish the postbit to look like this:

Neo_Angelo(image here)

not

Neo_Angelo
(image here)

thanks for your help in advance...i've been looking for ages.
