well i have found a new host www.s-10owners.com now can someone help me with a step by step to move all my files/folders over to the new host from my old host. or how can i do this. i am just not sure how to move all the files. it would be great just to get this stuff moved or learn how to do it myself. i know you can do it via FTP but i am not sure how to move everything in the home folder and all the folders and upload them to the new host..can someone explain how to do this. i would like to save everything in the public_html aand just upload everything in there to the new host

you pretty much download everything inside of the public_html folder to your home computer.

Then reupload the folder on your new host.

yes did all that ... took forever to do... now i guess i got to get tehdb bases working...

the best way is make

Backup

and dwonload it to ur computer

then upload there to the new host

and ask u host to back it up by SSH

i try it and it work

Upload net2ftp then zip your site up into a zip then download to you remote site then you unzip it there.
Simple.
