[3.6.x] Require X posts to start a new thread

Hello,

I am looking for a way to force my community's members to make X posts before are able to start a new thread under a certain forum (ex. Offers forum).

Every time a member start a new thread under the Offers forum he/she will be require to make X posts in any other forum except the Offers forum in order to be able to start another thread in the certain forum.

Any help would be great.

you can do this with usergroup permissions and promotions by default.

I don't only want my members to be able to start a new thread in this forum after reach X posts.
I want to be able to start a thread after reach X post from the last time they have created a thread in this forum (and the posts they make in their own thread in the certain forum don't count) :)

Like Gear Tripper said, you can do this through the promotions. Just set the appropriate Forum and Usergroup permissions.
