How to update existing hacks into new style?

How do you update new styles with existing hacks?

For example, I have added a new style and need to install the Post Thanks templates into the new style?

You need to redo the template edits for that style if the new style hasn't got an older parent style with template edit (and you haven't customized that template yet in the new style). You don't have to worry about new templates of the mods, the ones of the master style are used automatically :)
