I cant post a reply... its saying automerged doublepost when it clearly is not. Its somewhat of a pain because I need an answer to my question urgently and I cant even bump my own thread. Help, Please,

no bump ... that's the exact purpose of the auto-merge.;)

I thought that, but i've seen people being the first to respond to their own threads. Anyways maybe my question was destined to end up in the bottom of the barrel

As for your question in the other thread, you'd be better off to post that at vb.com since it is about a standard vb feature.
