As per THIS (https://vborg.vbsupport.ru/showthread.php?t=130220) thread, I thought I'd bump this issue as I'm clearly not the only one having it.

My symptoms are the same as the screenshots in that thread...since upgrading to 2.5.7 we have an intermittent issue whereby the score gets submitted numerous times.

I have had it happen to me as well, it isn't multiple presses of the submit button, it just seems to "happen".

*Bumpity*

Some sort of fix is urgently needed for this.

This morning I have had to manaully remove over 20 instances of multiple score submissions.

There is only one person having such problems, he is a friend of mine.
He finally discovered this only happens when users have some german ISP (called "1&1")

Hmm. Well I have a variety of users having this issue. I am taking a guess and saying that if the score takes a few seconds to submit they keep hitting the submit button...though they deny this...but the scores were much slower to submit before I upgraded and this didn't happen.

Is there an easy to way remove duplicate scores? At the moment I have had to modify the arcade modcp to show the last 50 scores rather than 5, so that I can remove each duplicate individually, but this is a time consuming process.

For future versions, I don't know if it's a useful suggestion but perhaps some way of detecting and blocking multiple submissions might be an idea...or perhaps the button "greying out" when pressed or something.

the procedure of score-submitting is implemented in each game itself, which means it is in the flash-file ...

Zero,

This isn't caused by an ISP, but it is a script related issue. We have people across the board that have this problem. (It has even happened to me and I'm on BellSouth.)
