i want to make the sub forums appear just like they do in this site. how do you do this in vbulletin 3.6.2?

newbie question.......thanks in advance.

Forum Listings Display Options is where you want to be looking, my 1st 3 options are 2,2,1 and i have the same result.
theres a couple of hacks on the vbulletin.org site to put them into a nice colum order to tidy things up (i have a lot of sub forums)https://vborg.vbsupport.ru/showthread.php?t=122996
