question about vBulletin's capabilities

Hello,

I have questions:

Can I setup another program to register a new user in Vbulletin, ie bypass the standard signup form. That way a user can sign up for multiple services I would be offering one time ie vbulletin, mailing list, newsletter, etc

I guess I am wondering if there is some api or interface that I can tie into ...

no that thread is for something completly different.

There is however a thread about this, as i started it and we came up with a solution (in both php and cgi which is nice) but i don't know where it is. Will search for it.
