I just recently got vbulletin and running on 3.6.2 version.

Me, and my mods, are able to upload our avatsr ourselves, though we just recently learned that none of our standard members can upload theirs. They can get to the menu on their USERCP, but they are not able to bubble in the 'custom avatar' therefore making them unable to upload any avatars.

I am just guessin this has to do with either: Their permissions? Or repuations? Or such? I dont know exactly, anyone help me?

Another question, how do I set the size limits for an avatar, because one of mods has been able to produce a very large avatar image, and I do not want that to happen in the public. Thanks.

Hi there,

In order for members to able to upload their avatars

Go to Admin Control Panel-UserGroups-Usergroups Manager-Registered Users-

Scroll down till you see "Picture Uploading Permissions"-
Can Upload Profile Pictures: Yes
Can Upload Animated Profile Picture: Yes
Profile Picture Maximum Width (pixels): 100
Profile Picture Maximum Height (pixels): 100
Profile Picture Maximum File Size (bytes)
1KB = 1024 bytes: 23000
---
Can Upload Custom Avatars: Yes
Can Upload Animated Avatar: Yes
Custom Avatar Maximum Width (pixels): 100
Custom Avatar Maximum Height (pixels): 100
Custom Avatar Maximum File Size (bytes)
1KB = 1024 bytes: 23000

3.6.2 has an extra field (I'm running 3.5.4) than click on "Update" and create a test account and see if you registered users can upload an avatar. Make sure they don't exceed your limits/size
