This is a new default template to REPLACE your postbit_legacy template, should you rather have your postbit (Username, Avatar, postcount, etc) on the right side, instead of the left.
This is coded for vBulletin 3.6.2.
See attached screenshots for the results.
Please note, if you have made any changes to your postbit_legacy and simply copy the contents of the .TXT/text file and paste them into your postbit_legacy template, your changes WILL be lost.
Instructions:
Open attached text file, and copy the entire contents to your postbit_legacy template. This content will REPLACE anything you currently have in your postbit_legacy template.

How tough would it be to convert a heavily modified postbit to be on the right?

Basically you just have to switch the order of the four cells (in two rows) that hold the postbit data; one for the profile, one for the post, one for the warn/report etc buttons and one for the reply buttons, (not sure if the topicstarter also made other modifications, I haven't tried this out myself), so I don't think it should be too hard ;)

Personally, not know what you mean by "heavily modified" I can't really say how difficult or easy it may be. I would recommend if you have hacks that have been edited into the postbit_legacy, to make a backup of your postbit, place the new right hand postbit code into your template, then add the hacks back in.
Depending on your experience level, you could go about it the way Yorixz mentioned, and use your favorite html editor to move the cells around, but I think that would be more difficult the my first option.

How do you make it on the left side? I would like to put it on the left side because right now it is in the center like this forum.

isiit possible to have it as a complete template and so that we can let them choose the right hand side themselves.

Mark this is a very nice concept.
Do you have any idea, what type of conditionals I could use for a specific purpose, so say for odd post numbers I can use the regular postbit legacy while for even numbered post numbers I can use your right handed solution.
Something like this
<if condition= "$post['postcount'] == 1,3,5,7,.... (odd number)>
regular postbit legacy
<else /> /* when postcount is even number
right handed postbit legacy
<if>
I this way the discussion would look a bit like nuhit's in both sides of the screen.
Thanks so much.
Val.
