A suggestion for vBulletin.org: turn on the vBulletin reputation system :)

vBulletin.com has turned it on a while ago and I think it would be very useful on vBulletin.org also :cool:

This has been suggested and is on the list of things to do as far as I know.

I disagree.Leechers will use it too often and it will be a big fat SPAM

Yes, it is in the list of things to be looked at after the 3.6 upgrade.

Yes that is true. If implemented we would definitely have solutions to blocking potential abuse.

Such as turning off negative reputation? It's pretty rare that enabling it works out and anyone who abuses via positive reputation is an interesting character indeed...

I wouldn't think negative would be totally disabled - possibly only allowed in some areas.

Where negative reputation is applicable - I wouldn't see why staff should be immune to it, however, do I think Staff will be recieving negativing reputation? Certainly not. :)
