I got this error from members wen they try to put the avatar or the signature .

This is linked to the storeage location for your avatars and signature pictures. If you are storing them in the file system the directory needs to exist and be writeable by the server.

Make sure that you have uploaded all the vBulletin folder to your server. Please go to via FTP, log in and make sure you have all 10 folders uploaded.

NOTE: If you have all 10 folder, make sure your folder customavatars is set to 777 and customprofilespic is set to 777

OR

ACP>Avatars>User Picture Storage Type

Avatar File Path
This file path should be readable AND writeable by your web server (usually chmod 0777)
./customavatars

URL to avatars
(Relative to your forums home page)

Profile Picture Path
This file path should be readable AND writeable by your web server (usually chmod 0777)
./customprofilepics
