This hack will allow you to spit out a page to guests before they can see the thread. While it will still allow the spiders into thread without them seeing this system.
Same as most other hacks it is 3.5.x compatible if you remove the executionorder="5" from the product file.
Install Steps:
Just install the product and enjoy.
As always if you enjoy this free hack please donate. Donations can be sent to tim@extremechatforums.com via paypal.
I will be making a new version of this soon which will allow you to turn it on and off per forum as well as define a custom message per forum.

very nice. I have 2 problems. The ad stretches the page both in IE and firefox.
In IE, the showthread page displays large characters

It uses the vbulletin $show['search_engine'] to allow in the major search engines that in the same fashion that vbulletin uses that to hide certain things from spiders.

I was checking out this hack, and wonder if it complies with the Adsense Terms.
I'm not hack crapping by any means.
It's just my understanding that Adsense advertising is meant to be placed with content, not on redirect pages.

Are you sure spiders will not see this? Just had some Jeeves spiders viewing an error message when crawling my threads.

Yeah this may increase your revenue but it's a little too risky for me in terms of SEO.

If the spiders situation gets fixed, I am planning to put in the latest threads titles in there to satisfy Google contents requirements.

I like it, nice idea but is there a way for making it appear randomly or every certain number of thread views?

Randomly is a possiblity. I might see about adding that as an option in the next release.
Can someone show another demo site..?

before you go around releasing "next releases" its about time you sorted out your past releases..
