Need a different way to show forums.

I have some forums at the top displayed as normal. then when u scroll down, instead of the norm like this

FORUM CAT
FORUM
Forum2
FORUM CAT2
FORUM

I want to do this

FORUM CAT NAME

IMAGE IMAGE IMAGE IMAGE IMAGE

IMAGE IMAGE IMAGE IMAGE IMAGE

then back to normal
FORUM CAT
FORUM
Forum2
FORUM CAT2
FORUM

All those images would link to the forum cat forum link like this https://vborg.vbsupport.ru/forumdisplay.php?f=185

Hope i explained it ok and someone can tell me something like this exists. I know www.theadminzone.com has something similar, but theirs is based on whether or not there is an external link.
