Fresh install of vB 3.6.1, with an import of the 3.5.4 database imported.

Some users cannot remain logged in, even when "Remember Me" is checked and cookie settings look fine.

vB will periodically kick them out and make them log in again. Lasts for an hour or two and it happens again.

What other info should we be checking?
What should we be looking for?

Remember Me (Remember Me)

They already use the Remember Me button. Installing a mod that leaves it checked won't help if they're STILL having issues with it checked...

This is actually something from vbulletin.com..........the person the wrote the remember me isn't the author of the actual fix i shared above....

It isn't a hack, it is something you need to add since 3.6 didn't add it.....I had the same issue and when i followed this, it worked. vbulletin.com (vbulletin.com)

I have been having this very same issue - I have nailed it down to the latest firefox release. I have told my users to add the site to the whitelist or "exceptions" and to clear their cookies/reboot and the problem should be fixed - of course be sure that remember me is clicked.

This has become an issue within the last few weeks - I have had one user report that it had happened on all sorts of browsers, but I have yet to see an issue - the only constant... I haven't updated firefox and they have.

If you had explained that to begin with, it might have made me react a little differently... like with "Thank you for explaining that. I'll try that."

I have a user who is still having this issue. He can not even remain logged in long enough to make a post. I can not find anything on my end - he swears he has cleared his cookies, has remember me checked and has added the site to the whitelist.

I had noticed when he originally had this issue there was an error in my logs pointing to a file that was hisuername.asp - which is odd, because I do not have any ASP on my site...

Do you remember exactly what the issue was, or could you ask your friend what it was?
