Proper posting in mods section?

Say we have a modification which we developed in 3.5.x and we post it into the 3.5 secton.

We then discover it works fine on 3.6.x - is it ok to post the mod in the 3.6 as well?

Yes thats fine, as long you post a 3.6 format product xml, not just copy over the 3.5 format file.
