I think you will find the look and feel of vBulletin Modder to be far from the default vBulletin style. A lot of effort went into customizing the style so that it is unique. We strive to be a good free resource for help with your vBulletin setup. And of course, you can find my own mods there as well. Check it out.

I've held off from nominating my site, but I nominate Strike 3 Forums. Since nominations must be in by the end of the month, this is a bit early, but with it being October we have a lot of different things planned for the playoffs, so our activity and content should be rocking by the end of the month. As far as what seperates us, we really try to be ahead on the curve in terms of what other baseball forums do (in terms of content, physical appearance, extras such as Out Of The Park sim leagues, among others), I like to believe we have a pretty unique visual identity, a casual community where it's really easy to get to know everyone and we're very clear about what our passion is.

Much as I shouldn't big up the competition, I'd like to second this site. The slightly off-kelter layout and friendly round design is terrific.

Well, the forum is intended to be as clear and clean as possible. There are quite a few aesthetic improvements and of all the functional modifications the "Dogg" (http://doghouse.forumdog.com/announcement.php?f=43&a=4) rating system is probably the most interesting.
