Everytime I ban or IP ban a member, all they do is reset their IP and re-register (or get a proxy program). It's starting to get to be a pain in the butt since trolls are pretty much invincible. I don't want to have to manually approve every new account because the size of my forum makes that a huge task. I'm curious if anyone has ever found a way to deal with these members being immune to banning? I'm wondering if banning all free email accounts is the only solution out there?

I tried the temp modding new members and it was just a lot of work (plus there was no way to know who was the banned members) ... the IP ban doesn't work as I have banned over 48 of their IP's and they keep finding new ones. I tried the miserable ban ... worked for a while until they figured out what it is and now just get a new account when it happens

Hi:)

I'm going through the same problem and it's getting out of control. Check my thread Spammers just keep on Coming - I need HELP please (https://vborg.vbsupport.ru/showthread.php?t=127165) My forum is pretty small and it's under attack. I'm the Admin and I too am tired of having to have to approve every new registration manually, but the problem with htis is, I don't know if they are a spammer or not.

We need a solution for these spammers, need to get strict on NNew Registrations somehow on vbulletion forums.
