I see that a person can be banned for transmitting copyrighted work. Would that apply to the sites I have listed on this thread?
https://vborg.vbsupport.ru/showthread.php?t=126976
I have emailed each forum admin and have only received replies from 2 of them. I will of course take elgal action but under the vb.org TOS can they be banned for non compliance? I see that it states:
3.1 No "spreading of copyrighted Material"
Just need clarification for the complaint process.
Thanks again,

That probably means spreading it on here. So unless they used this sites resources to exchange them I doubt it applies. Just my guess.

Since my site was listed as an example on here only wouldnt that be using this site? Not to mention the hack in the first place I would think.

As far as I can see, that rule is aimed at modifications released here - I'm not aware of of anyone releasing a modification including any work by yourself.
We cannot be expected to police people who happen to find and copy stuff on your site, even if they happened to follow a link from here. It is a site owners responsibility to protect their work.
In the case of someone releasing copyrighted work here - the normal course of action would be to remove the modification and warn the member, banning anyone would be a last resort, not a first option.

As I have stated in the thread, the infringement of atleast one site supposedly happened here at vb.org. Mhotum refuses to give the name of the person who supposedly sold it to him here at vb.org. He told me he was solicited via a pm here.
I was asking for proof but the thread was closed by successful posting from the guys 'buddies'. Typical.

As Paul mentioned already, that clause is focused on members submitted already copyrighted work here. That we can control, and we will do what Paul outlined.
Situations like yours, however, are out of our hands.
If we have substantial proof that someone is distributing copyrighted work via PM, we will also do as much as we can.
