hey folks
i was just wondering what the difference is between styles made for 3.6.1 and 3.6
Is there an advantage to getting a 3.6.1 or are they both good to use?
thanks

There are some template changes in 3.6.1 to fix bugs in 3.6.0 so if you use a 3.6.0 style then you will need to edit the required templates yourself.

awesome thanks - so I should just go for the 3.6.1 versions to be safe.
is there anywhere to check if there will be a new update somewhat soon? so I dont go through changing a ton of stuff just to see another upgrade available right after?

An update to what?
The style - ask the author.
vB - any updates will be released when they are released.

No, but you should be fairly safe for 4 - 6 weeks at least. Minor upgrades / security releases seem to be released in that sort of time frame.
