This hack will show you users viewing a thread similiar to users way vbulletin shows how many users are viewing a forum on the forumlist.

I no longer am supporting my hacks here. I dont have time to maintain the updates at 5+ sites anymore.

Whats new in v3.0.1?

Well this release is considered a must update to for everybody. I fixed in this release another bug that would cuase members who had previously viewed a thread during their current session to be reprisented on every thread they had viewed instead of the one they were currently viewing only.

Yes I would not continue using any older version since it presents false data.

This hack is server friendly since it only uses one query to get all the needed data.

Needs a space before the opening bracket. Also it it possible to use something other than the space character between the number and the word 'viewing' so that the two are not split when the line is wrapped on the screen? (as per the 6th thread - Sony - with 7 people viewing?)

i would have put a space before the opening bracket but vbulletin wasnt like that on the forumlist so i made it look exactly like theirs.

Cheers - well my installation has a space before the opening bracket on the forum list, but my installation is long in the tooth so it's no indication of how it is 'supposed to be'.
However, I think it looks rubbish without the space, so I have added one via the plugin manager. Just thought I'd let you know.

I already average 3.00-6.00 server loads most of the day, would this add significantly to server loads?

Erm that's very odd.
Isn't vbulletin.org the busiest site for vbulletin hacks? I thought it was the only site.
If you don't post hacks here, itsn't it like, not bothering to share them at all?

I release my hacks on a few different sites. I honestly dont have time to keep updating them all everywhere. Its to time consuming. I spend 90% of my days it seems like supporting my free hacks so im moving over to a better system to manage all my hacks. People can choose to come and use my hacks or not its their choice. I am already hard at work on a hacks database, install system, released hacks bug tracker and so much more to implement on my scripting site for supporting all my hacks with and for any user who wishes to to take advantage of as well.

Plus I will try and see about at least releasing the first version of new hacks on here so people can find them if they are interested and even update hacks on here when I have time to do so.

It is just getting really hard to maintain 20+ (and growing fast) hacks on 5 or so sites and keep them all updated everwhere. Think about it thats 5 releases i have to do for every version of every hack.

lol...theres sites all ove the place, this one aint got the monopoly on em.
plus, some authors just do hacks for their own members.....nothing written down ANYWHERE to say they HAVE to share.

I hadnt been supporting the hack here for a while. So now im starting to update all my stuff and get the newest versions to all the sites that need them.
