Blinking sub forums?

I have subforums and they are kinda hidden for some users.
I added a bold tag so they stand out but thats not enough.

Here's my thought.
Is there a way I can make the forum title blink when there is a new post? And stop blinking when the posts have been read?

The easy way would be to replace your statusicon/subforum_new.gif with an animated gif. Here, I made one for you if you are interested.
