A simple plug-in to identify users using the vBISpy AJAX Live Feed (https://vborg.vbsupport.ru/showthread.php?t=125947) plugin.

Import this product and users will be shown as "Viewing ISpy" in Who's Online.

Note: If you have changed the name of vaispy.php you will need to modify this xml file to change line 15 to reflect the new filename.

Cool. Would it be possible to make the who's online page AJAX, so it shows all page activity across the forum?

You would need to ask in the request section

Or would it be possible to combine the posts refreshing with who's online?

I think I agree with this post. I uploaded the vaispy and it works OK. I added this product, and a user viewing vaispy showsup under who's online as viewing the main forums page "Viewing Idex" with the link to my main page.

I believe it would inly show someone on your index page if there were indeed on index.php.

I'm not really sure what that has to do with this particular mod; but you might try the Suggestions forum.

I'm not sure what the answer is as it works for me; I'm not sure how it could say someone is on the index without them actually hitting on the index last?

It doesn't work for me either; what I'm finding is, the WOL page just shows whatever page the user was on right before they went into VBISpy. In many cases, that's the "Index." But I just logged in as "user 1", went to the calendar. Opened a different browser and logged in as "user 2," checked user 1's WOL status, and it said he was in the calendar. Then I took user 1 to iSpy, and checked WOL status again in the other browser (refreshing the page, etc. to make sure I was getting the updated info.) It still shows him in the calendar. I see the WOL status of other users online at the time have changed... just not User 1 after he went into iSpy.

I also tried Andreas' Add Custom WOL Locations (https://vborg.vbsupport.ru/showthread.php?t=83247) hack, and got the same result.

Happy to offer any more info to try and troubleshoot.

Hi

I have changed the filename to spy.php.

I have modified this produkt on line 15:
<phpcode><![CDATA[if (preg_match('/(.+)spy(.+)/',$userinfo['location']))

on line 17:
$filename = "spy.php";

line 26:
case 'spy.php':

line 27:
$userinfo['activity'] = 'spy';

line 40:
case 'spy':

But it does not show.

Any ideas why?

Help is much appreciated

Given how the script works; it could be that the polling resets the who's online pointers. The script calls another script to check for new messages and that script is more than likely overwriting the online value for the user.
