Not sure how to ask this... User count online

I was wondering if there was a way to add some code to a non VB page to have visitors on those pages show up as on the site (unknown location) or something like that?

I have been trying to figure this out myself but no luck. there are so many threads asking the same thing but no one can answer except include global.php. that does NOT work.,
