so i'm trying to start my forum anew. i installed a fresh copy of 3.6 and exported from the old site and imported from the new site the users. when i try to log in it says that i'm banned.

thanks for responding. i just checked and none of the groups are "8", banned.

Try clearing your cache, dumping your forum cookies and then restarting your browser. I'm wondering if you're picking up an old cookie from the previous installation or something.

i dumped the secondary usergroups and it worked. thanks for your help (from a legend, i'm honored).
