How do I add adsense ads to the archive?

I have vbulletin v3.5.3 and would like to put some adsense ads up in the archive, but am having trouble finding out how to do so.

I know this is possible, so I really appreciate any help I can get. :)

Untested but grab this (https://vborg.vbsupport.ru/showthread.php?t=100299) and in the XML file find in two spots:

$output.="

And replace with the following:

echo "

Also set your Google information, and then import the XML file.

The problem is my forum runs 3.5.3, which is too old for that add-on.

I guess I would update, but how will this affect all my other add-ons/what is involved with updating?
