Link Anonymizer for 3.6.0 ?

Hi,

I am searching a link anonymizer for 3.6.0

Marco van Herwaarden has allready postet one here....but this doesn?t work for me in 3.6.0.

I search something to hide the referrer with the service of anonym.to

The other link anonymize hacks which you can get only hide the thread but the main url is still visible as referrer.

Can anyone help me with that?

I've used it on a clients site and he is using vb 3.6

It will be displayed as referer "http://www.yourdomain.com/forum/links.php?"

This isn´t enough for me, I want to hide the source completly, and for this the modification I have posted above is perfect.

Rasun...that modification adds the rel="nofollow" attribute to the link...I'm not an expert, does this attribute actually tell the browser not to send referral info to the destination host? How does it work?

Is there a test site that tells you if referral info are being passed? I just installed that hack and would like to be sure that it works like it should...

In my opinion it isn?t possible to create a anonym referer without a referer service (for example anonym.to) which will complety hide your domain...but I am also not an expert^^

When you use the hack from redlabour it will be redirected like that:

http://www.redlabour.de/forum/links.php?url=http://club60.org/testref.php
or
http://www.redlabour.de/forum/links.php?url=http://www.v4hn.de/code/referer.php


So only the thread-id will be hidden for the other site...the main domain name is still visible...

i just tested the above posted mod with the referer test link you posted.... my referer line is blank.... :)

Make sure you hasn?t disabled referer-sending in your browser.
If referer is disabled in your browser, referer line always will completely hidden, also when you use this link directly here at vb.org:^^
