I don't get a lot of spam but when I do it's always phone or computer ads. A first time poster to my board most likely wouldn't post they want to sell their Nextel phone or ipod.
What might be cool is having a set of keywords (phone, ipod, etc.) that automatically place all of the new member's posts in a moderated usergroup until it can be determined that this person is legit.
