I'm new to VBulletin and am poised to launch my new forum. I'm curious to know what strategies other people who run boards use to attract participants besides submitting their sites to search engines.

I'd love to [re]discover the answer to that as well... it can be awfully discouraging to have a slow-running forum.

i would to i started my site also and having trouble finding active members as well

i'm not sure how to go about stuff either - i've had me site for a while but only really started work on it this year... still got a way to go yet though (remembers to poke tech)
