Question, on how to do something. :(

Hi, I am new to this site right now. I do have a registered license of my vb, and ive seen on numerous pages how thier main index.html or w/e has the 'announcments' from thier forum on thier main page (not forum main page). What exactly should I search for to get what id like?

Also, if im not registered with you guys or whatnot, can someone tell me how i can do that ? thanks! :)

Unfortunetly thats not what i am looking for. This particular hack only works from the forum homepage, wich is not where i want the posts to be. What id like is something like this~

www.mypage.com/index.html is my main page, i want to show announcments on this page made from my forum home. So that when people go to the main index page, they see what announcments(in this particular case, what events we did the previous night). the announcments are on a hidden forum section where they do not show up in the normal forum at all. I may not be explaining this correctly.. I wish i could find a link to a site that uses it to show you.
