done for vb 3.6.0 and would really like for this to be a default setting on vb that can turn off or on

Although the 3.5.4 version works with vB 3.6.0, Atakan KOC has already released the 3.6 version which you can find here (https://vborg.vbsupport.ru/showthread.php?t=117944). :)
