Is there any way to have a common .php page password protected under the forum? Basically, I have a .php file that contains standard html but I don't want anyone who is not a registered member to be able to access the page. Is there an easy way to do this?
Hi,
I have actually made a password hack that works in version 1.1.5 with no problems at all.. it scraps the vbb cookies and uses sessions instead.
It can be tricky using vbb with password protection due to it's custom headers and numerous cookies.
I have tried to port my hack to version 1.1.6 with no luck. However, I have posted this as a zip hoping that someone is able to fix it and work out what is going on.
It seems that it works until a post is selected then for some reason, the user becomes the last person who replied to that particular post..
Apart from that it seems to work perfectly well..
Thank's to anyone who can resolve this for me as I am sure that this will also be useful to others.
Regards,
Donovan
