Donation button on home page

I want to add a donation button on the home page(vBa CMPS) and have it link to a thread in the forums with info on how to donate.

Can someone help this dummy in how to do this?

Well if you're using VBACMPS you can just add a new module using the BBCODE function, and you can build the thing like a post. So you can simply make a picture that says click here to donate and then do the bbcode for a linking image to that forum.

Thanks for the reply but i don't know how to use the bbcode function.
Is there an option under bbcode to create a new module?
