Load of server = WAY to high since the new version

I have major problems with my load on the server since the new version.

With the old version I never had any problems. Problems start when I have more then 70 visitors online. I guess it have something to so with the attachment database. He is currently 3 Giga.

Any suggestions?

I am not having this problem.

I have upgraded my forum, and installed the flatfile shout box upgrade, and my server load decreased by about 200%++++!

Im lovin the new version too!

depends on your server specs, are you on a shared account? 70 users on a shared account these days is alot and will over load the server eventually.

also I suggest moving attachments to a file system, and not use the database for it ;)

I kind of have this problem, but its not the server load.

My server load times atm are 0.97 0.88 0.89 yet its taking about 30 seconds to load each page of the site. The hosting says its my ISP, but theres loads of my users complaining about lag.

hmm... how does this help? (I'm learning. :)) and where does one go specifically to set this (I can never find stuff in the admincp. grrR)

edit: found it!!

admincp >> attachments >> attachment storage type. :)
