how do i add a 720x?? banner to the left or right side of the forum?

you know the tall banners...

easiest way is to grab one of the side column modifications and then stick your banner in the column template.

There are a few about, so just pick the one that does what you want (ie all pages or just forumhome, right or left side)

Or you could just put it as the background image and align it to the left...
