New posts only from your buddies.
I hate missing posts from my best buddies, and with the board being too busy, I tend to miss a lot of them!
It would be nice if you could set up an additional buddy list in your user cp, where you select buddies that you always want to see new posts from. Then up in the nav bar, next to the "View New Posts" button, you'd have an additional button that says "View New Posts by Buddies".
Then when you click that, it would only show you new posts from your selected buddies since you last logged on. That way you have the option to both see all new posts since your last visit, and then all the new posts only by your buddies since your last visit.
I don't know if you could use the regular 'Buddy' list for this, or if it would be better to have a separate buddy list just for people that you wanted to make sure you saw every post they made.
If it's too hard to make a separate one, then it could just be tied to the existing buddy list.
In the "What's going on area", where it shows "X amount of new posts since your last visit", under that, it could have "X amount of new posts from your buddies since your last visit"
