Howdy!

I've been looking for this mod I keep seeing that allows uses to mark thier threads [Solved]. But, it seems this is a feature that different forums are coding for themselves. :surprised: I'm referring to...

http://forums.techguy.org/security/490286-solved-help-removing-spybuddy.html <--- Note the word... "Solved:" ....at beginning of Title

Here's another example on DaniWeb...

http://www.daniweb.com/techtalkforums/forum38.html <---You'll see several threads marked "Solved:"

In this mod... the original poster (and Admin and Mods) have an extra option under Thread Tools that allows them to mark the thread Solved.

Anyone have any interest in coding something like this?? It seems like a valuable feature in that it tells people which threads/problem no longer need a response. And too... I think it gives a good impression to a problem solving type forum... ya know, people visting a forum will see other people's problems getting fixed!

Any takers?? ;)

Thanks!

You could use the "Thread Prefixes" hack...

I may clean this up, see what needs to be done for it to work on 3.6.7, and release it.

No promises.. ;)
