based around bodybuilding and health and fitness, covering all aspects, includes (when installed) arcade/bank,points system/vbookie, 63 members in 10 days, growing fast, we aim to be more unique than the more larger forums in that we have a broad spectrum of members from both sides of the atlantic, therefore inducing more discussion and debate on workouts/regimes/diet/ etc

The logo looks nice. I like how you overlapped the iron bar on the right.
The style (gradients) in the tcat/thead are a little bright imo and I think you should go with something more pleasing to the eyes. That's my own personal preference and others may be fine with the colours but I personally think the brightness is a bit extreme.
I would also give you forum a more custom feel to it as there's to much default images which don't go well with the brightness of the gradients. In short, I would design new gradients and implement custom images and replace the vbulletin stock images. :)
Goodluck with your site.

No Problem 5IVEO,
If it's any help try visiting this link (Linkage) (http://www.defencemechanism.com/color/). Maybe you'll get some colours which are better suited for your forum. Afterwhich, I suggest visiting the graphic database here for some custom graphics which may compliment the newer colour scheme you've yet to implement. :)

I agree, logo looks awesome
I also agree about the colours, it might be because i've loaded it up from this darker forum, but the red and blue stand out to much
What about a gun metal gray colour? It'd tie in with the castiron colour of weights! hehe

just an update, ive altered the colouring somewhat and made some slight alterations, can you let me know what you think now? we have 260 members in 4 months and 20,000 posts, the members have slipped off of late, i had a target of 500 by christmas, we've got listed now on major search engines and have banner exchanges and sponsors etc, a good start I think, just dissapointed with the no' of members :hurt:

Looks good to me, colours are nice and smooth, not to bright or dark.

Thanks mate, I did tone them down slightly, they were a little too bright to start with.

Aye looks good
If I were in charge of the forum, this is what I would change (bearing I have limited knowledge on this :P)
I'd change the blue/turquoise (sp) background that's around the edges, it's abit garish still, i'd make it somewhat darker
Also, the navbar area is huge, I assume due to the "click here to find out how to advertise" (or words to that effect)
Also, just a personal preference, i'd align=middle the mini logos next to the navbar menus.
I did a l33t MSPaint example of what I mean (...I'm REALLY tired, so excuse the basicness of it :P)
http://www.dresch.co.uk/center.PNG
This is the same background, with a darker shade of that blueish colour
(This is just a personal preference thing, but it isn't as odd looking as the current colour, no offence! :P)
