I get these errors when trying to play a game (and the 2 sessdo erros on the landing page for the arcade which i know the sessdo errors will be fixed)

but I also get the

Sorry, an error occurred. If you are unsure on how to use a feature, or don't know why you got this error message, try looking through the help files for more information.

The error returned was:

This score was not submitted from the game. Your score will not be saved.

error which is much more serious.

I run a Win2k3 Server on apache 2.2.2 and php 5.1.4 and mysql 5.0.22

looks like the obvious you have 2 headers on your site. Just look at your source code and look for two <header> statements

the other can be caused by many things but most of the time its by using a portal or having a corrupt/incompatible game file.

the only games we have installed so far are the ones builtin with the script... and the only portal we run is vbadvanced and its not in the same directory so i think that isnt an issue (i read in the support docs it is if its in the forums dir)

but really those issues arent too big, the not saving scores is.

I have the same problem like aggiefan.

I think it is a problem of MySQL-Version 5.0.22 and/or PHP 5.1.4-0, but i have no idea what i can do.

(Sorry for my english, i am from Germany ;) )

Yeah Im thinking its a apache/php/mysql specific error (or possibly running on server 2003)

and I know Ive read many people have this same problem and nobody has gotten an answer yet.

and I have the same versions... server 2003 with apache 2.2.2 and mysql 5.0.22 and php 5.1.4

We use Linux Debian ;)

So i think it's not a problem with Windows 2003 Servers.

We use Apache v2.0.55...

We have the same MySQL und PHP Versions as you...

Having the same errors as well. But I'm using a win2003 server with IIS.
So I think we can safely rule out any operating system stuff :cool:

Having same issues.

PHP v4.4.3 (32bit)
IIS 6.0 (64bit)
MySQL 5.0 (64bit)
Windows 2003 64bit Edition

Supposedly Zero has a fix in 2.5.7 but unfortunately, it's not resolving our issues now. I'm uninstalling this until a fix is available or the issue is addressed mainstream.

Zero, can you PM info on how to resolve this? I can't allow FTP access to my sites.

you are using vbAdvanced, read the enclosed instructions "vbadvanced and other portals.txt" to fix this :)

I have the same problems, read the portals.txt, then when I made the changes on the index, I got this (but only on the forum, not the portal page) :

Notice: Undefined index: module in /var/www/vhosts/glamour1.com/htdocs/forums/index.php on line 4

Notice: Undefined index: func in /var/www/vhosts/glamour1.com/htdocs/forums/index.php on line 12

Notice: Undefined index: func in /var/www/vhosts/glamour1.com/htdocs/forums/index.php on line 18

Notice: Undefined index: func in /var/www/vhosts/glamour1.com/htdocs/forums/index.php on line 24

Notice: Use of undefined constant act - assumed 'act' in /var/www/vhosts/glamour1.com/htdocs/forums/index.php on line 30

Notice: Undefined index: act in /var/www/vhosts/glamour1.com/htdocs/forums/index.php on line 30

Notice: Use of undefined constant showuser - assumed 'showuser' in /var/www/vhosts/glamour1.com/htdocs/forums/index.php on line 32

Notice: Undefined index: showuser in /var/www/vhosts/glamour1.com/htdocs/forums/index.php on line 32

Additionally, some games work, store the scores, etc., but when I add other games, not all work. I have one question, do you do custom work so my arcade can look similar to the one on iBPA? Thanks, rg sends!

I'm in that same boat there. Same errors as above when adding the portal code to index.php.

We use vb 3.6.2, vbadvanced CMPS, and Arcade 2.5.6+.
Still cant get the scores to save for anything. It just takes you back to the forums index, not the portal index and still doesnt save the score.

Help Please.

Both in arcade.php and this "fix", variables are not defined correctly, which is why the "error" notices are displayed.

Paste in this instead:

// ibProArcade modification
if(isset($_POST["module"]) && $_POST["module"] == "pnFlashGames"){
$_GET["act"] = "Arcade";
$_GET["module"] = "arcade";
}
if(isset($_POST["func"]) && $_POST["func"] == "storeScore"){
$_GET["do"] = "pnFStoreScore";
}
if(isset($_POST["func"]) && $_POST["func"] == "saveGame"){
$_GET["do"] = "pnFSaveGame";
}
if(isset($_POST["func"]) && $_POST["func"] == "loadGame"){
$_GET["do"] = "pnFLoadGame";
}
$act = (isset($_GET["act"])) ? $_GET["act"] : "";
$showuser = (isset($_GET["showuser"])) ? $_GET["showuser"] : "";
if($act == "Arcade") {
include "arcade.php";
exit();
}
if(!empty($showuser) && $showuser >= 1) {
$u = $showuser;
$_GET["u"] = $showuser;
include "member.php";
exit();
}
// end of ibProArcade modification

Either way, I have the same problem that randomly scores are not submitted.

This "fix" goes into index.php -if- your forum is -not- index.php.

Just paste it in the top of the file but make sure it's inside the php tags...

index.php
<?php
insert code here

your other php code here
?>

Thank you MrZeropage, that did it. Ignore my recent post (#2229) in main thread.
