My usergroup permissions are set perfectly, but still my users are having a problem with posting. They'll try again and again and it'll show that the post was successful, but when they refresh or view the thread again their post is gone. Is there a problem with CHMOD or am I missing a usergroup permission (I strongly doubt, because I've checked them over and over again), or what..? Please help me.

It sounds like you have them on Moderation so you have to approve each post...

In each of your forums, check to see if you have the Moderate Posts radio button checked... Uncheck that button. Then moderate all their posts so they can see them...

Check it in the Forum Manager, click on the forums, in the Moderate Options you would want Moderate Posts to be "no" so that you don't have to approve each post by the users.

The moderation option needs to be a different setting dependant on your version. Can you confirm what version you are running so that the correct advice can be given?

Also, is this all users or just one particular group?

Do you have any secondary user groups on your site, and if so have you also checked their permissions?

Version 3.6.0, this is happening to members of every group but Administrators, and I've checked *everyone's* permissions. i've reset them to the defaults, even, and still no luck. The changing the "Moderate Posts" option in the Forum Management area didnt work.. It was already set correctly. Stil, I'm having to validate user's posts.

Okay, do you have any Access Masks set? And in the User Group Permissions what setting do you have for Follow Forum Moderation Rules?

This should be set to "yes"...
