Inform Tournament-Members

Hello,

how can I keep users, which are members of a tournament, up to date with information (with pn or email), that the tournament has started, that they have to play and if they belong to the next round or are out?

i have an arcade forum made up so members can keep track of whats going on.
our members always make a thread up in the arcade forum and say theres a tournament on and which game. after the tournament they will go back to the arcade forum and post about who won or who wants to play again, just things like that.
im not sure if this is the anwser your looking for but thats what we do to see what tournaments are running or who they want in.
we also post in whos out and who still has to play, so when a member logs on they just go strait to the arcade forum and check.
but other than that i guess you could just e-mail them.

no, sorry, that's not the same.

I want to "force" the members a little bit more, to get information about the tournaments.

If a member has signed for a tournament, he should get an information pn/mail, when the tournament starts, automatically.

If a member played a full round, he should get an information pn/mail, that he is through to the next round or he is out...

Do you understand?

yes i understand now sorry, good luck on that one i havent seen or heard of a hack for that.
i hope someone can help, i would like that myself.
