If yes, then unfortunately there is no way to fix it.

This currently works only on 3.6.x.

vBulletin will not update 3.5.x to support such functions, I asked already.

I guess you are using vBulletin 3.5.x?

If yes, then unfortunately there is no way to fix it.

This currently works only on 3.6.x.

Thx Cyb, almost everything fine. I just have one issue.
I have "remove bold style from usernames" set to no. And team members are fine since they are bolded. But I have a problem with registered users. Their usernames appear bolded as well. Even though I have nothing set in Username HTML Markup for that usergroup.

Sorry, I must correct myself. I was modifying something in xml file and accidently bolded usernames so all of them were bold regardless of html markup. It is fine now. Thx for a great hack.

Hmm, are all threads supposed to show up regardless of the user's permissions? I have moderator private threads showing up in this hack now. They can't view the thread, but they can see the title through this hack. I don't remember it being this way in other versions.

I need some help......
I created my own template. The stats within the Forum Stats box uses the "small font" CSS, but with the colors I use, either the forum stats don't show up (white on white), or the rest of the "small fonts" on the template are messed up.

Is there a fairly simple way to give the stats in the Forum statistics box their own font color?

Uuuuuu I like it to Manage plug-ins from options and not do any Template hacking!

If in next version you will find a way to make it possible to add more raws, I would be happiest Admin who have installed your hack.

You could say "nobody need to have one colum and put all in the Vertical way" - but one need to scroll horizontally when using resolutions less than 1000 points width.

Please think about pity MobileInternet users, they have quiet small displays.

People I Nominate it for Mod of the Month - and call you to do same.

Cyb in my HTML validator it says that one can't use Span to define a style for Table.

It is unimportant warning, however.

People, do Top Thread Starters show at your forums the real ammount of Threads started by a user? It is not working correctly at my forum.
Cyb after I updated to 5.1 the number of Threads in Top Tread Starters have showed correct numbers.

But after couple of days I see that nothing changs...

There are aslo inconsistencies for numbers of Top Thanked.

I think it would be better to store everything in a Database and run a sheduled updates and not calculated the numbers everytime the Statistic opened by anyone.

I think there may be a little bug somewhere. I just viewed the stats in IE7 (I use Firefox primarily which seems to work fine) and if I hover the cursor anywhere below the very top of the Top 5 Stats header bar, everything is underlined with the style I have given my links. Even non-links are underlined.

Is anyone else having this problem or is it just my board??

In Table "'PREFIX'user", there is a column called Threads, that have the information how many threads user have started.

By me it got Stuck and not changing since days although my users activly starting the threads.

Anyone idea: Where and who and which script or php is responsible for calculating and updating that column "Thread"?

Did you try to Disable all statistics and then swich on one by one.
Or show it not on main page "Main Top Stats box on ForumHome".

I'm also having similar problems (i think) possibly something to do with the styles (CSS). Whenever I hover the cursor over the Top Stats heading in IE7, everything below it becomes underlined with the same style I have given my links. It happens in Safari on a Mac as well, but nearly as bad. Firefox and Opera display it perfectly. I can't figure out why so I've disabled the mod for the time being unfortunately. :(

I cannot get it to work on vbAdvance CMPS main portal/page ... it seems that the $cybtopstats is not putting any info into the page. I have adv_index in the custom pages section under the vBulletin Options section for Top Stats .. I am confused .. It use to work and I have changed nothing just re-enabled the module in CMPS.

I still cannot get this on my front vBadv CMPS portal page. I used to have it working but set the module to disabled because the links were not relative etc. I am trying to re-enable it and have changed nothing but the $cybtopstats appears not to complete within the vBA CMPS Module... help !! :)

Are you sure you need that file?

Except you are using Arabic language second attachment is not needed. It's just translation and XML file is only important in whole archive.

That's all.

And sometimes it's required to revert hack templates if any of them was modified on older version.

Also when new version includes new options it's good to check hack settings in ACP after upgrade.

3. I have a module called "Advanced Forum Statistics" which is a template module and the template is called adv_portal_forum_stats and looks like this ..

Still no output for the variable $cybtopstats. If I add text to this the text displays fine so the template module is working fine. It's as if the variable is not globalising. I have had this previously working. Downgrading did not work either ..

read me says:
To move Top Stats box somewhere else on forumhome: 1.-Set placement setting to "None" 2.-Add "$cybtopstats" wherever you wish in FORUMHOME template.

but there is no "none" options for placement, only "disable". but as said, if you disable it ...well..its disabled.

and if add "$cybtopstats" anywhere it doesn't "take".


please add "NONE" to placement option so I can place this somewhere else on my forumhome without getting two topstats!! :)

I Have found the problem:

In Admin CP go to Language Manager.
Edit your language, look for Date Format and Time Format, I change both with this parameters:

Date format: %d-%b-%Y
Time Format: %H:%M

I solve the problem by extracting the plugin Cyb - Advanced Forum Statistics - UT and making from it a php file, than I let it fire as a cron job once an hour as a Scheduled Task.

There is still one small problem, the number of thread are always one more than the user in realy have.

I solve the problem by extracting the plugin Cyb - Advanced Forum Statistics - UT and making from it a php file, than I let it fire as a cron job once an hour as a Scheduled Task.

That's weird. I don't know if I've expressed myself clearly. I mean, e.g., the normal user should not see the threads from private forums, but the authorised users should able to see them. Just like the vba_cmps did. But now the vba_cmps page works has no problem, but at this mod I don't see this effect -- except I disable the usergroup or forumid in this mod -- but that's not what I want.

For the vba_cmps works correctly, so I don't know where else I can set the wrong permission settings. At the forum display the unauthorised usergroups also can only see that those forums marked as "private". I've checked it again. In forum permission setting I've disabled those usergroups at all, anywhere else I should check?

That's odd. You have the latest version of this mod installed?
Go to Forum Manager, and then select View Permissions for the forums you want to hide. Edit the usergroups that you don't want to have access and set all options to No.
Also make sure the users are not members of another usergroup that do have access to those forums.

Yes, I did installed the latest version.

I've followed your instruction did the permission setting again, but it has no effect.

I use the guest account to test the display effect, so I'm sure that it has nothing to do with "members of another usergroup". If the user permisson has any problem, then they should see the private forum on the forum display page. But they don't, so I thought maybe there's nothing wrong with the permission setting. I'm confused...

Yes, if your guest account doesn't see private forums on forum home, the permissions should be ok. Then this mod shouldn't list posts from them either. Have you tried uninstalling the mod and installing it again? If that doesn't help I'm out of suggestions. :(

Check your Scheduled Tasks especially do the "Hourly Cleanup" must be enabled and set to be fired once an hour.
You can also try to run it ofter, if the refresh of Top Starter Statistic is wished.

Cannot see numbers in some styles. My site has several styles, some light, som dark. Apparently this mod does not use the style settings for test for it's numbers. I see that I can alter the text color in the mod settings, however this is a global setting, effecting all installed styles. So when I set a light color; the numbers will not show in light colored styles and vice versa.

Is there anyway I can set it to follow the original style setting or, in other words, use the same color as that of the text?

Noticed this: -Improved exclusion of no-permissions-to-view and private forums from statsIs it possible to prevent the titles of threads posted in private forums from appearing? The titles appear, but members get No Permission message if they try to access threads in private areas.

The problem is the title sometimes gives away the topic of the thread. Mods can be discussing a member's actions for instance.

Excluding the forum ID does not keep the titles off in the current version installed.

Such options was added in some older version but then removed because of complex queries which slowdowns forums. This may be implemented later but no promise.

Every time I release new version there is a note on how to upgrade.

It's always required to re-import XML allowing overwrite.
If there are any hack templates customized it's recommended to revert them.

Cybernetec, your latest release doesn't fix the font color for the uncolored text. You have the class smallfont specified for the cell but, by default there is no color specified for smallfont, only size. Optimally, they should have an alt class specified.

I don?t have any modifed mod templates, so there isn?t anything to revert. It still doesn?t want to show the alt1 or alt2 background graphic.
Can it be a problem with this new version, because I use a background graphics (a gif) for alt1 and alt2 instead of normal color?

Still cannot get it to display on my vbAdvanced CMPS portal page IN A MODULE... :( The problem seems to be the $cybtopstats variable is not passed to the vbA CMPS modules, if I put it in one of the vbulletin templates like navbar or forumhome it works on the main portal page so cybtopstats is globalised there but not in the modules.

When I display it in forumhome on the frontpage CMPS portal the links are still wrong and assume that the portal page is in the same directory as the forum, which mine is not, portal is in / and forum is in /forum/

I have a suggestion that would in my opinion make this great hack even better.
It would be nice to be able to split the stats in 2 separate tables. There is a lot of stats that people would like to display to have it all in one place. I was thinking maybe it would be nice to have more important stuff above forums. And less important under the forums in another table. And maybe for other table to option of including forums instead of excluding them.
So we could have latest posts from forums that don't deserve that much of attention in second table.
I for example have few forums which aren't strictly related to board theme, so smaller percentage of members are interested in them. I don't like those threads covering main stats, but at the same time I don't want people contributing there to feel excluded.
I hope I am not the only one that has a need for something like that :)

I Un-installed versi?n 5.3 and Re-installed version 5.4 and the Same Error occurred!! :(

I had to Re-install again version 5.3 and Overwrite the version 5.4, and version 5.3 works OK!! ;)

I've tried versions 5.1 to 5.4 and only version 5.4 had presented that Specific Bug!! ;)

I hope that next version could have the "Last Threads in Forums" option fixed to be able to use it!! Until then I'll use version 5.3!! ;)

and i have updated this hack since 5.1 to 5.4 and "Latest Forum News" apears blank ... lol i upped and attachment .. the thing is i deleted version 5.3 or 5.2 if sum one has it upload it please or if there will be an update please tell me

Dear Cybernetec,

First of all, this is an awesome hack, well done! I installed it without a problem and it was working flawless. I'm using FireFox and everything was looking ok. But this morning I had to check something using I.E. and noticed something was wrong with your hack. Between "Top 5 Stats" and the rows it shows a huge gap, almost an A4 of blank space. FireFox isn't showing this and I.E. on a friend's place is also working correctly. But if my I.E. shows it like this I bet more people will have the same problem. Is this perhaps a common problem? I hope you can help me, it's a great hack but with this problem I can't let this hack stay installed.

Sigh .. still no joy with vBadvanced CMPS Modules .. the $cybtopstats variable is not being passed to the modules. It works if it is not inside a module and placed in the navbar on the main template but a template module seems to have $cybtopstats undefined. I have told the hack to globalise the variable for THIS_SCRIPT = adv_index. I am at a loss.
