Tournaments

I was thinking of switching back to ibpro cause of the lack of updates from v3... Only thing i would like to see personally is a feature to shut off Tournaments completely.. Cause on my test board even if you shut it off in admin the box still shows up.. Any one know how to remove it completely? Might be a nice feature to add.. If so im back to ibpro :) Also since its 100% Valid XHTML 1.0 Transitional is a plus and nice coding...

I removed them from the skin PHP files. :D

Im going to have to look that over.. Would be nice if there was a option in future versions to shut that down...

strange i removed it from skin_v3Arcade.php and skin_Arcade.php but it still is showing up lol

O? Can you please post a screenshot of what is shown and what you want removed. I may be able to help you.

*There are many lines of tournament codes in either skin PHP files. I had to go through one by one to do what I wanted. Also, the arcade.php file has some HTML codes. :)

right in the dead center the Information about Tournaments in the Arcade table.. this way they cant even see it or go to it...

lol there like 5 different languages in the arcade file... so far I think im getting it and ill tell you this much what ever I did so far its a major speed change on the arcade page

Cool. Basically what I did was removed everything I'm not planning to use. I even re-arranged the entire tournament Table format which in the end uses less lines of codes. :)

Yeah im working on it now there is so much in the arcade.php file its unreal..

Its gone now just to remove a few more things from my arcade file.. but my arcade file now is like 100 kb where before it was like 175kb full of other languages and other sql info for the tournaments.. they should be moved to another file as that file is crazy with sql info..

Yeah. It calculates the time in which you post another reply. If it's within a certain amount of time your posts will be merged.

There's a great deal of tournament codes to be removed. I'm not sure what MrZeropage has planned for the next release but it would be funny if the on/off switch for tournaments is included. :)

yeah it would be nice cause that file is a mess.. would also be nice to see that moved to its own file and not have it all bunched up in arcades.php...

In the future he may do it. I think it all depends on the direction he's taking with it. I know it has been asked several times of separating the templates, something along the lines as vB. That'll make sense.
