View Full Version : Help: redirect back to index.php

Hi there,

im finding that my forums redirect back to the /index.php no matter what you do, even when u click the 'view previous page' function.

its mainly after things like logging in and out, that i want it to be fixed for.

im using 3.0.6 any help appreceacted.

help anyone?

i can be in a topic, log in and it takes me back to the index.php each time.

main problem though is that when u register or do certain functions and the "return to previous page" link comes up that also takes u to the index.php.

Unless you provide a link so people can see the problem then you are unlikely to get much response.

cool, what kind of link would they need?

as its a problem with registering/logging in and out mainly.

Well that's not really what you said originally. For logging in you need to provide a test login and pw (like test/test).

created, the username is test1 and password is test1.

I can't see any problem, I can login and view all parts of the forum fine.

ok try logging out and then going into a topic and hten logging in whilst in that topic, it takes u to the index.php.

the main one that really annoys me as im trying to create a competition page where u can register and it takes u back to the page u where viewing, when u register it says 'return to page previously viewing' but when u click that link it takes u back to the index.php of the forum.

sorry i shoulda thought about it before i posted as it must seem all over the place.

hmmm ive tried it in firefox and in internet explorer.

it definitely doesnt work for me when u use the activation link after registering and u get the 'return to previous page' link, that 100% sends me to the index.php everytime.

Click here to return to where you were previously.

most definitely doesnt work still, i just tried registering and then using it and it sends me to the forums index.php
