I was thinking of a system that would really narrow searches for users and even help modifications get more attention since they'd be posted where people are looking for them.
If you got really creative, you could create quite a few categories for them to be organized under such as:
Thread Modifications (Ban User from Thread, Advance Sticky Options, Separate Sticky/Normal Threads, PM button in postbit, Bottom Forum Navigation Breadcrums below Threads, Display who has read a thread)
Admin Tools: (Moderator Statistics, Reported post creates new thread, Inferno Warning System, Restrict Supermod Permissions, Troll/IP Tracker)
Cash/Game Systems: (uCash, iCash, vBPlaza, RPG Integration Hack, vBTripleTriad, Arcade systems)
Cosmetic (Friends/Buddies on Profile, Welcome Headers, Color User on Forum Home, Top 'X' Stats)
And you could give us the option of sorting it by most installs, most views in the mod thread, by specific versions (3.5.1, 3.5.4 etc).
You get the idea. I know this would take a work but I am sure there are several regular members here who would be happy to volunteer and it would be a great addition to vBulletin.org.
