I'm surprised it's not easier to find the answer to this here, but isn't there a standard script to create a new vb user?
I checked this old thread and can't get any of the examples to work.

I'm getting "Fatal error: Registry object is not an object in /includes/class_dm.php on line 177" with my attempts.
Does anyone have a free standalone script demonstrating how to create a user without hitting the database directly? Or do i have to pay to get this secret? Any help is appreciated, paid or free at this point.
