Is there a mod that allows the site admin to create polls which would appear external to the forum (say in the left column if you are using the left-column modification by amykhar)?
A good example of what I am talking about would be www.techreport.com (http://www.techreport.com). If you look at the left hand column, they have new polls that they rotate every week or so.
It would be cool there was a mod that pulls the latest poll questions out of a post made to a specific subforum and displayed it in the left column as the above example.
Does such a mod exist?
